A multimedia project which includes music/recordings, film/video and a photo series as a tribute to SIMON MASHOKO, a master
of mbira music, whose musical working was influencing a whole generation of musicians in Zimbabwe. The installation reflects the first meeting of the Austrian artists KLAUS HOLLINETZ (composer), MICHAEL PILZ (cinematic artist) and WERNER PUNTIGAM (musician/composer/photographer) with the legend beside their participation in the cultural exchange project "Reflections on Tonga Music" in 1997 and their second meeting in January 2002. Simon Mashoko passed away in June 2007.
