F*CKXMAS
The group io (Bidner/Praxmarer) did a subversive xmas market booth/stand in 2003 in the framework of an alternative xmas market place initiated by Manuela Pfaffenberger.
The buy nothing day fell together with the first day of the opening of the xmas market, so we decided to sell nothing. In the following days it proved to be difficult enough with our subversive xmas presents to sell something ;-)
but money is colorful paper which does a lot of harm, we had fun and enjoyed the mold wine and played outdoor table soccer against the other idealist selling unusual xmas gifts.
look at the photos, it was freezing, but maybe we awakened the heart
of some consuming monsters.At least at xmas you should fight for a better
world.
