Mona Lisa Overdrive - The Art of Captitalism

An interactive portrait of Mona Lisa with her smile replaced by a stock market ticker, which displays the online stock market values of the 25 most valueable companies in the world (General Motors, AXA, BP, IBM, etc.)

The smile of art got replaced by the teeth of capitalism, if you don't believe it have a look at contemporary art fairs.

This portrait sells for a bargain of 25000 Euro. Quite cheap for a unique Praxmarer. References to Duchamp, Da Vinci and William Gibson should satisfy the intellectual art consumer.

Technique: Oil paint on canvas (special paint technique "Paint by numbers"), Pocket Computer (HP IPAQ), Wireless LAN, Blue PLED Display, vintage wodden frame
